Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 4, 2026

Welcome to FieldSpot! This site is currently in beta. It's an early-stage project designed to help youth sports families find and share field locations, parking tips, and meet-up spots. By using this website or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Beta Disclaimer

FieldSpot is a beta product provided as-is. It may contain bugs, incomplete data, or temporary outages. We're actively improving it and welcome feedback. Please use caution and verify directions or tips independently.

2. No Guarantees

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of maps, field boundaries, directions, community-submitted tips, or any other content on the site. Use at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss, delay, confusion, or injury that may arise from using this site.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use FieldSpot for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Scrape or republish content from the site
  • Use the service for spamming or harassment
  • Tamper with or interfere with site operations
  • Submit false or harmful information

We reserve the right to block or remove access for abuse or misuse.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and designs created for FieldSpot remain the intellectual property of the creator. You may not reuse, resell, or copy material from the site without express permission.

5. User Contributions

If you submit tips, feedback, or other content, you grant FieldSpot a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content. You are solely responsible for what you submit.

6. Accounts and Team Invitations

We plan to offer accounts and team invitations. When these features are available, provide accurate information when creating an account. Before sharing another parent's name, email address, or phone number with FieldSpot for an invitation, you must have that parent's permission. Share only the details needed to invite them to join their team on FieldSpot, and do not use invitations for spam or unsolicited marketing. Each parent decides whether to accept an invitation and create an account.

We handle account and invitation contact information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.
